The Cardinals needed an extra inning as they outlasted Central 7-3 in eight innings.

The game remained 2-0 until the bottom of the sixth inning. Central scored three times on only one hit, one Cardinal error and hit batter. The final run scored on a contested balk call. The Cardinals countered with a run of their own in top of the seventh to even the score. Karsen Myers was hit by a pitch to start the inning. Brock Renfro drove a single to right with Myers scampering all the way to third. A ground ball off the bat of Mason Young that couldn't be fielded cleanly allowed Myers to score.
In the eighth inning Webb City grabbed the lead when Andrew Young tripled for the second time then came home on a wild pitch to give the Cardinals the lead. It was then that the limited roster of the Bulldogs came into play. Central was forced to the bullpen with limited success. The Cardinals finished with 4 runs on only one hit but were aided by six free passes.
Mason Young got the start and went five plus innings. He struck out six, only allowing one run on two hits. Braden Strickland earned the win in relief working the final three innings, striking out three.
