
JOPLIN, Mo. -- Jackson Lucas earned a 3rd place finish at the Eagle Creek Tournament to tee off the Webb City Boys Golf season. The team travelled to Eagle Creek Golf Club in Joplin to compete against Joplin, Carl Junction, and Neosho.
Here's a breakdown of the scorecard and placements:
Jackson Lucas finished with a round of 83 and a 3rd place finish.
Ethan Goostree scored 93 with a 16th place finish.
Trenton Lynch scored 96, placing 20th.
Drew Woodmansee and Jackson Pickett both scored 99, placing 23rd.
Alex Fisher scored 101, placing 25th.
Jakob Morrison scored 104, placing 28th.
Rocky Holcomb scored 105, placing 29th
Derrick Wagoner scored 106, placing 31st
Holden Johnson scored 113, placing 36th.
Carl Junction's Logan Lowry took the first place title with a scorecard of 75. Jackson Lucas fell just behind Neosho's Jaxon Ertel's 81 points for the second place spot.
The golf team returns to action Tuesday on the road in Neosho to take on Neosho, Seneca, and McDonald County.
