A dominant second quarter leads Cardinals to 62-47 win over Carl Junction

The Lady Cardinals fell behind 6-0 early on Tuesday night to Carl Junction, but back to back three's from Whitlee Keith evened the game.  Tied once again at eight with two minutes left in the first quarter, the Cardinals then ran off a 26-10 run to end the half with a 34-18 lead.

The Bulldogs tried to close the gap and got it within 10 points in the middle of the third quarter but that was a close as it would get.

Abby Sargent topped the scoring list with 20 points as Addie Burns (15) and Whitlee Keith (13) each scored double figures.  Adalyn Maxwell grabbed a team high 11 rebounds and blocked three Bulldog shots.

Webb City will be on the road Thursday night with a trip to Forsyth.
