GRANBY, Mo. -- Both Lady Cardinals and Boys Cross Country teams swept the East Newton Invitational, earning first place titles.

For the girl's team, Brooke Hedger led the way. She took first place with a 19:01.48 mark. Araceli Perez and Emma McKinzie cracked the top 10 as well.

RESULTS:

1st - Brooke Hedger: 19:01.48

6th - Araceli Perez: 20:49.40

8th - Emma McKinzie: 20:50.36

14th - Olivia Klotz: 21:26.71

16th - Brooke Collard: 21:32.69

19th - Aspen Ritchie: 21:43.52

26th - Amelia Antillon: 22:12.63

33rd - Kristina Bundy: 23:00.48

The team earned first place, earning 43 points. The team finished with a 2:31 1-5 split and 20:44 average.
