Jason Horn

Jason Horn enters his fith season as the head coach of the Cardinals basketball program and his 15th seaason overall.  In 2016, his first season, he led the team to a 15-13 record and the a Class 4 District 10 Championship. In 2020, Coach Horn led the program to their third district championship in four years and their 20th district title overall as the they advanced to the quarterfinals of the Class 4 state tournament.

Prior to coming to Webb City, Horn spent four seasons helping resurrect a struggling Neosho progam and six seasons rebuilding the program at Southwest (Washburn).   The result of rebuilding the Southwest program was nmber of winning seasons and the schools first conference championship in 15 years.  In the six seasons spent at Southwest, his teams garnered the schools first ever state ranking, two conference championships, four district tournament championships, the first district win in 15 seasons and the first district title appearance in 17 seasons.  He had multiple players named all-conference, all-district and all-state while helping guide four of his players to college scholarships.

A graduate of Missouri State Univeristy with a degree in physical education K-12, he earned his masters degree from Willams Woods University.  He and his wife Liz have two daughters, Hayleigh and Kenzie, and one son, Jace.
