Rogersville and Webb City were the top two teams at the Class 3 District 6 golf tournament on Monday at Cassville Golf Club.

The Wildcats nipped the Cardinals by one stroke for the top spot, 347-348. Both teams will advance to the sectional round.

Monett (351) was third in the team standings, with West Plains (355) fourth, Nevada (364) fifth and Carl Junction (369) sixth.

Monett's Clayton Kaiser earned medalist honors with a 4-over par 76. Webb City's Nathan Ogden was the runner-up with a 79.

Monett's Nicholas Pilkenton took fourth with an 82 and Nevada's Owen Swearingen tied for fifth with an 83.

Webb City's James Pierce (84) was seventh, while Nevada's Bronson Smith tied for eighth (85).

Others competing for Webb City were Jager Carter (91), Keegon Dill (94) and Carson Frazier (95).

Next week's sectional will be held at Briarbrook Golf Course.
