Haddon Spikereit and Marcos Encarnacion finished second and third in the 2000 steeplechase and Mekhi Garrard finished second in the triple jump to lead the Cardinals to a seventh place team finish on Friday at the PSU Gorilla Relays.  In a field of 20 teams, Webb City earned 40 points on the day.

Junior classmates, Spikereit and Encarncion both finished the steeplechase in under 7 minutes each.  Garrard, a sophomore, jumped 44'-6" to capture silver in the triple jump.  

Joseph Dawson scored both in the 3200 and 1600, finishing 4th and 8th respectively.  

James Morgan finished 4th in the 300M Hurdles, running a 40.4.

The 4x200 and 4x800 relay teams each finished sixth.  Joseph Dawson teamed with Cole Cooper, Roman Borboa and Owen Weller in the 4x800 finishing at 8:26.  James Morgan, Josh Sigua, Kane Parks and Mekhi Garrard clocked a 1:32 in the 4x200.

Treyton Simmons and Pryce Mason tied for 8th place in the pole vault, both clearing 13'6".
