Cardinals fall at Wyandotte

Webb City tied the game at 2-2 with a pair of runs in the top of the sixth inning before Wyandotte answered with a go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth inning to fuel a win over the Cardinals on Monday.

Brynlea Collins earned the win after allowing two runs on four hits, a walk and a strikeout in three relief innings.

Laney Taylor took the loss in relief after allowing one run on two hits in 2/3 of an inning. 

Jensyn Pickett had two hits and scored a run for Webb City, while Karsyn Cahoon had a hit and two RBI.

With the loss, Webb City is now 22-10. The Bears improved to 28-8.

Also of note, Webb City went 4-1 at this past weekend's Springfield Tournament. Webb City defeated Reeds Spring (15-0), Park Hill South (3-2), Lee's Summit North (8-2) and Republic (6-5). The Cardinals lost to Nevada (3-0).
