The Lady Cardinals shut out the Hillcrest Hornets 3-0 to take the record to 3-1 on the year.

The offense kept the ball in the offensive end for the majority of the game and Melia Blair finally broke through with a goal in the 16th minute.  

After a handball call in the box on the hornets, Mileah Metcalf booted the penalty kick into the lower right corner of the net for 2-0 lead.

Blair scored her second goal in the 50th minute, blasting a shot inside the right pole.  

Delaney Duke is credited with the shut out, however, did not record any saves as the defense kept the Hornets from getting any shots on goal.

The Cardinals travel to McDonald County on Friday.
