WEBB CITY, Mo. - The Lady Cardinals Soccer team used offensive pressure to defeat Aurora in a 2-0 victory.

This comes after last night's defeat from Heritage 5-1.

The Lady Cardinals kept Aurora's goalkeeper, Jacey Lee, busy all night with a multitude of shots on goal.

The first score of the night came near the end of the first half when Sophia Booher took a shot that was deflected by Lead. The deflection led to an Avery Allen score.

With 3 minutes left in the game, the Lady Cardinals earned their second score of the night. Lily Hall knocked in the goal off her head coming off a free kick from Ruby Channel.

Lady Cardinals now have a 4-2 record and are on the road next Tuesday to take on Monett.
