Lady Cardinals fall to Ozark 5-0

By Zach Dobbs

WEBB CITY, Mo. -- Webb City tonight was unable to rally following early and fast scores from the Ozark Tigers.

In the first half, Webb City's goalkeeper, Addison Brown, made some impressive blocks. However, the Tigers managed to find the net three times, including one point from a penalty kick. This put the Cardinals at a disadvantage going into the second half.

In the second half, Ozark continued their offensive pressure, scoring early with a free kick. Despite the Cardinals' defensive efforts, the Tigers found another opportunity to score, widening the gap.

As the game progressed, the Lady Cardinals struggled to break through Ozark's defense. With time running out, they pushed hard in the final minutes, but Ozark managed to hold them off, securing a shutout victory.

Although the outcome was disappointing for the Lady Cardinals, they'll have a chance to bounce back in their last home game against the Joplin Eagles next Tuesday.
